Repetition assessment for speech and language disorders: A study of the logopenic variant of primary progressive aphasia

Primary Progressive Aphasia is a type of young onset dementia that is characterised by language impairment. Measuring disease progression and treatment response in PPAs is challenging. This study describes novel techniques for quantifying the quality of repetition in speech recordings and demonstrates the utility of the technique by using it to distinguish between healthy speakers and a subtype of PPA speakers.
